First Friday’s in Denver started out on Santa Fe Arts District, which is still the main Art District/Gallery location. Every first Friday of the month 6pm to 9pm. You can also check out more minor art areas on First Fridays including Tennyson Street in Berkley or RiNo – River North Arts District. Also check out Art in the City – after hours party for every First Friday.

Also – Good news for gallery openings and First Fridays! (from a great art source in the city – Create Denver)

Great Updates, but don’t forget about the Golden Triangle Museum District (GTMD). Not only does it include all the major museums in Denver, the gallery scene is robust with some of the best art in town. First Fridays is in full swing in the GTMD. The atmosphere is very different than Santa Fe, with hundreds of true art collectors roaming from gallery to gallery. As I am a gallery owner, Ditto Gallery, a board member of the GTMD, owner at GRI Studios (a giclee printer), and founder of Digi-Canvas, we love the GTMD for everything that I mentioned above. Check out the First Fridays in the Golden Triangle Museum District when you get a chance, and our “Denver Plein Air Arts Festival” and check out http://www.BestArtDenver.com that lists the best galleries in Town.

    Cheers!
