Snow Day!

Yep, that’s right. It’s snowing today. On May 1st no less. Typical Denver weather if you ask me. Plus side is, the flakes outside my window look like huge cherry blossoms, so at least it feels springy in my head.
Now, I just pray for sun on Saturday (Derby Day)!
C says: While the accumulation of snow wasn’t too noticable in Denver proper, down south the flakes stacked up and created the kind of giddy excitement/horror like only a snowstorm in May could. There was talk among coworkers of closing the office and going sledding. While my windshield had 1-2 inches on it when I left for lunch, the roads were slushy and wet at best. Not ideal for sledding.
