Downtown Denver Video

The other night I had the pleasure of meeting Vanessa from Cinema Vertige. She and team has recently put together a video on Downtown Denver (debuted at Cinemocracy at Red Rocks during the DNC), comissioned by the Downtown Denver Partnership.

The video – a short film with original operatic music by 18 musicians (no talking), features downtown more of as I see it as a local, rather than as you usually see it in these types of videos (cow town, sports only, skiing in the mountains that aren’t even IN the city of Denver). So, check it out – pretty great stuff!

This gets me to thinking: Some images just stand out more because you are more intimate with those places personally… what places or images in Denver do you consider great? Anything from this video that struck you?
