Just heard about Denver’s Comedy Food Fight. Next one is coming up on October 23rd @ 9 pm. $5 @ Lion’s Lair on 2022 E Colfax. Some of Denver’s nuttiest comedy happens here, and people can bring their own food and chuck it at the comedians, or the comedians can peg the audience – so look out.

This place is as dive as you can get. Great exterior signage, crummy inside. Terrible pinball game “Twister”, good jukebox. Never needed to use the restroom there; would probably be scared of it. Live music at night, cool bartenders, cheap PBRs.
