Expedition Health: Pretty Cool!
Last night I headed to the invitational Expedition Health exhibit, opening soon at the DMNS. If you have been to the museum in the past couple of years, you’ll remember that there was a health exhibit there and it was interactive, but it was very, very old school including an out of date food pyramid. This one is anything but old school.
It includes my favorite, BodyTrek Theater (a movie about your body on a hike with fun features that I’ll keep a secret so you can be surprised), your “life card” like there was before, but with updated info and interactions. You can get your EKG, heart rate, age your face, assess your strength, or check out your walking stride.
The kids will love this exhibit, too with a section for the little little ones to a show with pirates for a bit older. Check it out if you get a chance…
