Biennial of the Americas
If you haven’t taken advantage of the expansive Biennial of the Americas hosted here in Denver this month, you have a few more days left! The cultural celebration has events all over the city exploring the Western Hemisphere including lectures, art exhibits, performances and more. Be sure to check out McNichols at Civic Center Park and the art installations for “The Nature of Things” exhibit. It’s the first time since 1955 that the building is open to the public and its three floors are filled with works from 24 artists. They are sure to make you stop and think about the state of modern society — while a couple might make you stop and wonder if what you’re looking at really qualifies as art. Check out the schedule (www.biennialoftheamericas.org) for the last few days.
